MCA or B.Tech. (Computer science) graduates are getting best placements from colleges, many of them are getting jobs in MNC’s and others are placed in big Indian brands.

Getting a good job is difficult if you don’t have any master degree. Even you need to be graduate in any stream to appear in any govt. entrance exams.

About MCA?

In educational terminology, MCA stands for Master in computer application. It is the 3-year post-graduate course in computer application. You can take admission in any university who offers computer science courses like IGNOU, DU, PTU etc.

You study on computer skills like computer programming, networking, system analysis, database management and many more.

MCA Course Duration

As already mentioned above, it is a 3 years full time as well as a part-time course. It has 6 different semesters.

MCA Course Fee

MCA course fee varies from college to college. It may be high in a private college. If you consider IGNOU it would be Rs.10800 per semester. If you are a non-math student so it will cost you an extra Rs 1400 for BCS -012 subject.

MCA Course subjects

IGNOU MCA program has been divided into two semesters per year (January-June and July-December). Consequently, there will be two examinations every year – one in the month of June for the January to June semester courses and the other in December for the July to December semester courses.

Salary totally depends on skills and practical knowledge. You have many options, you can join MNC’s, new startups, or you can start your own business-like website development, software development etc.
